We have several screen sizes which can be paired with our portable, collapsible frames that are flexible to fit nearly any space configuration:

Audio

We have several audio set-ups in order to cater to different spaces and sound needs. We have created our set-up to ensure we stay on good terms with neighbors and comply with local noise ordinances.
JBL all-in-one PA system
Long-range Bluetooth transmitter which can be paired with two portable Bose speakers to sync with every screening.
Microphone
Power

No easily accessible power outlets, no problem! We use a lightweight 2,000-watt portable generator.
Payment policies + FAQ
Payments can be made via Venmo, cash, or check.
Clients will be charged a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
There is a 10% fee for cancelations more than 24 hours before the scheduled screening. If canceling less than 24 before, for any reason other than inclement weather, you will lose your deposit. Rescheduled events are not subject to cancellation fees.
Equipment delivery, setup, and breakdown are included in our movie night packages. For rentals, all equipment can be picked up at our location in South Slope / Greenwood Heights or delivered for an additional charge.
Do you offer special rates for schools or educators?
Glowworm is happy to negotiate discounts with schools, non-profits, and organizations providing public events for the community. Contact us directly to work out the details.
An important side note: For public events, it is likely necessary that you will need to obtain a screening license. We are happy to help with this process and can also assist you with event planning (film selection, ticket sales, marketing, etc.) if needed.
What if there is bad weather?
Rain happens! We will work with clients to change dates due to rain, wind, or other inclement weather that could spoil your event or damage our equipment. We request that you contact us directly at least 3 hours before your scheduled event or rental pick-up to work out a new date.
